STATHAM LODGE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

I couldn't wait for Claire and Adam's wedding day to come around. From the moment we met up to chat about their wedding day I knew it was going to be a great day, and it really delivered! I met Claire and her family at their house on the morning of the wedding. We were forecast rain for the day but luckily we could only see sun and cloud; you could tell it was going to be one of those special days.
When I arrived the bridal party were a little pre-occupied with getting ready; with Claire's wedding dress, veil and bouquet all ready and laid out ready to be worn. From the moment I joined up with our bridal and bridesmaids everyone was so accommodating, all I had to do was remain quiet and allow the morning to unfold while I captured the relaxed, natural moments during this time.

St Albans Church Wedding Ceremony

It wasn't long before everyone was packed up and we were off to St Albans church in Macclesfield for their wedding ceremony. Our groom Adam was found outside the church greeting guests with his groomsmen and everybody was in high spirits for the day. St Albans is a lovely church and throws a great wedding service. It also has a balcony from behind the aisle which allows to take nice wide angle photographs of the ceremony. Claire looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle in her Mori Lee dress from Maria Modes Bridal in Macclesfield. The service itself was very relaxed and had its moments of laughter along with moments of emotion.

Claire and Adam married and on their way to Statham Lodge wedding venue!

Wedding Photography at Statham Lodge

Having two photographers for the day allowed us to have different perspectives during the service with myself at the front closely documenting the intimate moments of bride and groom while the wedding rings were being exchanged and vows were spoken in front of friends and family; and also Emma, my second photographer of the day who offered a second perspective from the back of the church shooting with a wide angle lens down the aisle to the wedded couple on the alter at the front.

Before you knew it our newlyweds were walking down the aisle for the ceremony recessional where they were congratulated by all their friends and family. The wedding car was waiting outside for the newly married couple however Claire and Adam had to charge through a sea of red confetti to reach it. It was then off to the wedding reception venue at Statham Lodge to enjoy the rest of the day.

Statham Lodge Wedding Venue

Claire and Adam's Statham Lodge Wedding reception had all sorts of things going on, we had: some great speeches, awesome lawn games out on the front, gorgeous wedding portraits of our bride and groom in the grounds of Statham Lodge, natural and relaxed moments throughout the day and also an amazing filled dancefloor with guests partying into the night.

We had great fun shoot Claire and Adam's wedding back in June and can not wait to return! If you're looking for relaxed, natural wedding photography at Statham Lodge, why not get in touch.
