Heaton House Farm Wedding Photography
Meera and Manesh were married at Heaton House Farm, Cheshire earlier this year for what was a truly special day. I've had the privilege of photographing at Heaton House Farm on several occasions and it's a wedding venue I love returning to time and time again; however this would be my first Heaton House Farm Indian Wedding. My approach to photography is to capture all of the natural relaxed unposed moments throughout the day giving a genuine account of how the day plays out from start to finish. As a Manchester wedding photographer I'm geared up with lenses and camera bodies ready for the day to play out so that I can capture the memories.
Heaton House Farm is an award winning purpose run weddings and events venue in Cheshire whilst also doubling as an actual farm housing sheep, cows and other livestock. From a photographers perspective it's a great venue to capture some unique and lasting portraits. Features such as the old oak tree as well as the water garden make idyllic backdrops for photographs.
Asian Wedding Ceremony
I met Meera in the bridal suite lodge where she was getting ready for the day ahead. She was very chilled out and relaxed when I met up with her which would bode well for the rest of the day. The ceremony itself took place in Steeles Barn which was filled with Meera and Manesh's friends and family. Meera looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle surrounded by her wedding party as she made her way up to the stage to be with her groom for their big reveal. I carefully documented everything taking place throughout the ceremony along with all of the moments and happy tears! I absolutely love photographing asian weddings as there's always so many moments throughout the day to capture, along with the vibrancy and colours which come along with the day as well.
Heaton House Farm Wedding
Once Meera and Manesh were officially married we were on to the water gardens for a quick set of couples portraits our newlyweds. The venue is gorgeous, nothing hasn’t been thought of, and every single member of the team can’t do enough to help. They genuinely care about each and every bride and groom that celebrates their wedding there and they are so welcoming to all the suppliers that are lucky enough to work there too.
We made the most of the warm sunlight and whilst walking around the pond before heading over to the old oak tree (the signature Heaton House Farm tree) for a couple more. Once we'd finished I was walking inside where I turned back and spotted a 'connect-4' game sitting on the lawn. Our wedding couple were completely oblivious as I shot through the centre circle and nicely framed the tree with bride and groom!
The drinks reception was then held inside before everyone took a seat for the speeches, which were were amazing. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! and then after a couple of epic 'confetti cannon cake cutting' shots and a beautiful first dance, we were all up and partying (hard!) until the end of the night.
I had a wonderful time photographing Manesh and Meeras Heaton House Farm Wedding and absolutely can not wait to return to this beautiful venue again in the future.
