Adlington Hall Wedding Photography
I met up with Amy and Stephen in a pub six months before their Adlington Hall Wedding day and simply knew it was going to be a great day. Amy had some great ideas for the day; being wed in Adlington Hall's old tapestry room being one of them! Having never shot at Adlington Hall before, I couldn't wait to experience a wedding in this room.
I was the first to arrive on the day (even pipping Amy by 20 seconds!) and fully prepared with cameras, lenses, lights and fully charged batteries at the ready! The preparation was fun to document with Amy, bridesmaid Emy and best man Dan being in great spirits in the morning. From the preparation I was then introduced to the wonderfully rustic wedding breakfast room at Adlington Hall which is where I had my first glimpse of 'THE cake'... and what a cake it was! Teacakes and Fairytales had pulled out all of the stops to produce a brilliantly coloured teacup pyramid of love-hearts, jammy dodgers, bourbons etc. It was pretty incredible!

After the ceremony we all headed down to Adlington Hall's Rose Garden where ice cream was being given out courtesy of Vitalianos Ice Creams. Danny Jewell Magician also wowwed guests with some brilliant card tricks. He also put on a special bride & groom trick just for Amy and Stephen... I had my eyes (and camera) on his moves and was left stunned myself at how he works his magic! brilliant!
During the cocktail hour, I went for a wander with Amy and Stephen for some nice intimate portraits of the two of them at Adlington Hall. It was nice for the two of them to have a little time alone on these magnificent grounds and to take in the day.

The wedding breakfast was followed with some hilarious speeches given by Amy's mum and a slideshow presentation by the best man Dan which had everybody in the room in hysterics!
After a short break (and a couple more portraits) we were back on the dance floor for Amy and Stephen's first dance. Amy and Stephen had practiced their dance and it completely went down a storm. It wasn't long until everybody was up on the dance floor to join them.
After their first dance, we headed outside for a signature shot of the day using one of Adlington Hall's archways and a little bit of smoke.
It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Amy and Stephen's wedding. I can not wait to photograph Adlington Hall again as a wedding photographer.
