CASTLEFIELD ROOMS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Laura and Liam's wedding day was a joy to photograph. They both wanted a very relaxed and informal affair whilst keeping the day intimate and personal with only a select few family members attending the Stockport Registry Office ceremony and Castlefield Rooms wedding breakfast afterwards.

I met Laura and her bridal party in the morning at her house in Stockport. Spirits were high as I met up with everyone and the champagne was in full flow! There were some great moments during the morning such as 'the chair moving episode' in the living room with Laura's mum and sister bridesmaid where mum ended up on the floor to fits of hysterics from everybody. And also touching, lasting moments as Laura came down the stairs for the first time to be greeted by her dad who saw her in her wedding dress for the first time.

Stockport Town Hall Wedding

It wasn't far to drive to arrive at the wedding venue for today's wedding. In fact, it was just around the corner! Stockport Town Hall would be the venue for Laura and Liam to say their vows and tie the knot and become newlyweds together. With approximately 18 people attending the ceremony in the registry office it was really personal and intimate with all of these natural moments being captured throughout. After the ceremony we headed outside where the wedding party greeted the bride and groom with confetti and applause for the newly wedded couple. From here I quickly whizzed off with the bride and groom for a couple of portraits at Stockport Art Gallery and in front of Stockport Town Hall before the guys got into their wedding car and headed to the Castlefield Rooms for the party!

Dukes 92 Wedding Party

It didn't take long for everybody to make their way from Stockport to The Castlefield Rooms where everybody met up at the top table in Dukes 92. Dukes 92 do a great variety of food and with the intimacy of the wedding party it made the perfect setting for the breakfast meal.  After the meal we were treated to some amazing speeches from Laura's bridesmaids and also father of the bride, capturing some great moments in the process before we nipped outside for some groups shots and one of the wedding rings together.
The Castlefield Rooms has some amazing places for portraits and we were treated to some gorgeous early-autumn light on the day which really added to our photographs. Afterwards we ventured back to the venue to enjoy the partying into the night with family and friends!
